Save 5% On Your Next Disney Vacation

It’s a great feeling knowing your saving money on a family vacation especially in a theme park where everything seems to cost more than you can imagine.
We’ve discovered a simple little way that we can save 5% on our Disney Vacations by combining two of our favorite things our Target Red Card along with Disney Gift Cards.    Disney will let you pay off your booked vacation using Disney Gift Cards and when you buy these at Target you save 5% when you use your Target Red Card.  Once you have your vacation paid for you can also purchase them to use for food in the park, souvenirs, and Photopass purchases. 
Here are few details you need to know:

• Hold onto your cards until after your vacation until you may need to have a refund
• Also hold onto your receipt until after you use them incase one of them is not activated
• Highly recommend the debt card as opposed to the credit card since carrying a balance will virtually eliminate your 5% savings
• For redeeming them towards a cruise you simply give these to your travel agent
• When booking yourself you can redeeming them online at the Disney website.
• Tips for using them on the cruise:
  • If you want to use the gift cards to pay off excursions make sure you apply them to your account the first day so that your excursions don’t go directly to the credit card. 
  • Only give them as many gift cards as you think you will use because getting a credit returned to you at the end of the cruise is more difficult.
