This was a dream come true for my daughter. She had begged for months that all she wanted to do on our next cruise was swim with a dolphin. We were able to make it happen on our Mexican Riviera Cruise in Puerto Vallarta. It is one of those amazing adventures for the whole family. You can read more about how pick our port excursions in my blog post on Choosing the Right Port Excursions for your Family

Photo Friday – Snapshots in Line
Some of the sweetest pictures I look back on are those quick snapshots I took of my family while waiting in line at the Disney Parks. It’s a great way to kill some time. If you would rather not wait in long lines (I hear ya) check out my post on How to Avoid Long Lines in Disneyland and The New Disney World Fastpass+ Experience

Photo Friday – Carsland!
Can you see the tail fin sculpted into the mountain? On our first trip to Carsland in Disneyland Resort we felt as if we had walked right into Radiator Springs. There are so many details to take in. In my post on 10 Things to Know For Your First Trip to Carsland I let talk about some of my favorites. For some good tips on how to avoid the long line and wait times for this great ride check out my other post on Avoiding Long Lines at Disneyland Resort

Photo Friday – View from the Swinging Bridge
We recently visited Yosemite National Park to check out the waterfalls. This time of year they are usually gushing and raging full force. The last time we visited the falls was June of 2010 at that time they were raging and gushing overflowing most of their natural streambeds. This year after 3 consecutive years of drought like conditions in California it is a good thing we went early in the year to view them. They were magnificent but significantly less in velocity and power. I imagine by June they will be down to mere trickles which is how they generally appear by late fall. If you love to visit to see the falls I recommend you go now!

Photo Friday – Hershey’s Kisses Aloha Style
Boy were we surprised to find these on our trip to Hawaii. They were delicious. How come we have never heard of these before and why is it you can only get them on Hawaii?

Photo Friday – Mission Santa Clara de Asis
Recently we visited Mission de Asis in Santa Clara for Leah’s fourth grade mission project. I did not realize that it was part of the Santa Clara University nor did I know that Santa Clara University is the oldest campus of higher learning the state of California established in 1851. It is a beautiful campus and the mission sits at the heart of it.

Photo Friday – Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom via Snapseed
One of my favorite apps is Snapseed and they recently added a new feature HDR Scape. It takes my pictures and makes them look like paintings. I think I could make myself into a real artist this way.
