Beth and her kids all left to go back home today. There were sad goodbyes all around and one little girl cried forever about how she didn't want to be here anymore and missed her computer. She continued on in this manner until her brother asked if she wanted to play with him on the Wii then all was well again.
To the grownups the once tight quartered cabin suddenly felt large again. It was strangely quiet and the bathroom was not occupied. For a time the peace and quiet was appreciated.
Tonight no one will sleep on the floor but we will also not be serenaded to sleep with the soft strumming of the guitar.
Camp Shady Cove is much different.
